Dato' Lee Kok Kwan
President of ACI - Financial Markets Association of Malaysia

Dato' Lee Kok Kwan has recently been appointed to the boards of CIMB Group and CIMB Bank. Prior to the appointment, Kwan was the Group Deputy CEO where his areas of responsibilities included the sales and trading businesses in interest rates, credit, foreign exchange, commodities, equity and their derivatives; treasury and funding for the Group; fixed income investments; and, debt capital markets which he developed since joining CIMB in 1996 and has since grown to be one of the largest global markets operations across ASEAN.

Prior to joining CIMB in 1996, Dato' Lee had more than seven years of markets and treasury experience in the Canadian banking industry. He was the Treasury Portfolio Manager responsible for interest rates and optionality risk & return for a leading Canadian bank and a member of its Senior Asset-Liability Management Committee.

Kwan holds a BBA Joint Honours (1st Class) and a Master of Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University, Canada. He is also the President of the Financial Markets Association of Malaysia and the Vice-Chair of the Asean+3 Bond Market Forum established under the auspices of the Asean+3 Bond Markets Initiative and the Asean+3 Finance Ministers to promote development of cross-border activities in the Asean+3 local currency bond markets.

Azmi Bin Abdullah
Group Treasurer
Genting Berhad

Azmi Abdullah is the Group Treasurer of Genting Berhad. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri, Columbia and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. He has been with the Genting Group since 1990. Prior to Genting, he was with the Treasury of Bank Buruh (M) Berhad.

Ray Choy
Regional Head of Fixed Income & Currency Research

Ray Choy is Regional Head of Fixed Income & Currency Research at RHB Banking Group and leads a team of research professionals located across Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Jakarta. Ray's experience in the financial markets since 2002 includes G3 and Asian fixed-income and currency strategy, domestic currency and US dollar global bond funds management, regional equities investments, and credit ratings.

Over the last decade, Ray has set up two fixed income research teams for investment banks; a team involved in global funds management and research; and currently manages the RHB Banking Group's regional fixed income and currency research platform across strategic business units in Asia. Ray's team also functions as an integral advisory unit within RHB Banking Group, providing research insights to debt capital markets, global markets, treasury and risk management. In addition, he remains actively involved with the financial markets in formulating and communicating macro strategy for the fixed income and currency markets, providing advice on sovereign credit ratings and has written comprehensively on the link between systemic risks and bond markets.

Ray's research team was ranked 1st in The Edge's 2008 fixed income research polls for Malaysia and was individually ranked 1st amongst Malaysia's researchers in The Asset's Asian Currency Bond survey in both 2009 and 2014.

Ray comments regularly on the market outlook via various media channels, such as Bloomberg and Reuters, and writes for his monthly column, “Bond Market Insights” in The Edge Weekly. Apart from regular presentations to institutional investors, he has been invited to various financial market conferences in the region as speaker or panellist, including the RAM Annual Bond Conference, The Asian Strategy & Leadership Institute's (ASLI) 15th Malaysian Capital Market Summit, The Asset's 5th Asian Bond Markets Summit, Finance Asia's 2nd Asia-Pacific Debt Investor Forum, Marcus Evans' Asia-Pacific Sovereign-Linked Products Conference, and the Bloomberg Talk conference entitled "The Malaysia Outlook 2009 versus The Global Financial Crisis".

Mohamad Derwish
President of MACT and General Manager Corporate Finance
Telekom Malaysia Berhad

Mohamad Derwish is currently the General Manager, Corporate Finance for Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) since 2004. He joined the company in 1988 and had served in various senior financial positions of TM Group of companies. Prior to joining TM, he had served for five years in Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Bhd. Since assuming the current position, he has raised bonds and sukuks for TM in the international and domestic markets and responsible for other fund-raising and treasury activities. He had also been involved in TM's international investments and M&A exercises. He is currently the President of Malaysian Association of Corporate Treasurers.

He holds a BSc Hons (Accountancy) from University of East Anglia, U.K and MBA (International Finance) from American University, Washington D.C, U.S.A.

Alvin Kong
Managing Director, Head of Markets

Mr Alvin Kong is the Head of Markets for HSBC Bank Malaysia with responsibility over the activities of the bank's treasury department including sales,trading and balance sheet management. He has more than 20 years of banking experience, predominantly in the area of treasury and capital markets. He has contributed significantly to the development of the treasury business within the bank and the financial markets in Malaysia in general. Given HSBC's global presence, Mr Kong and his team play an important role in keeping the connectivity among the group offices facilitating our customers cross-border businesses, be it inbound or outbound flows. In his role, he also works closely with our regional research and market strategists team while leading a team of capable treasury specialists in providing solutions of international standard to various type of customers.

Ng Seow Pang
Head of Global Treasury
OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad

Ng Seow Pang is the Head of Global Treasury at OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad and has over 25 years of experience in foreign exchange, beginning his career with Malaysian French Bank in 1989. Since 1994 he has worked for Standard Chartered Bank in Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines, where he held the position of Head of Global Markets for eight years.

He graduated from Keele University with a BSc Honours in Management Science and Computer Science, and holds a Masters in Management Science from Imperial College at the University of London.

Wan Chun Shong
Tan Chong Group Malaysia

Mr.Wan Chun Shong has been in the field of treasury work for more than 20 years. He graduated from U.S.A with an undergraduate degree in mathematics with business concentration and Master degree in Economics.

He has joined the banking treasury as a treasury corporate dealer for BTMU-UFJ Malaysia & Singapore and later on moved onto corporate world where he assumed the group treasurer role for Elken Group in Malaysia, TwinWelath Group in Hong Kong and recently Tan Chong Group in Malaysia.

Drew Brick
Head of Market Structure Strategy APAC

Drew Brick is responsible for assisting Bloomberg core product teams with identifying and planning for market structure change.

Drew has extensive buy-side and sell-side experience. Before joining Bloomberg in August, he was an RBS Managing Director and Head of Markets Strategy in the Asia-Pacific. He was top-rated in a variety of industry polls at BNP Paribas and Morgan Stanley as well, where he held similar positions in Markets Strategy.

Prior to that, Drew was a Partner and Portfolio Manager for the US-based macro hedge fund, GreenRidge Asset Management, and Portfolio Manager and Global Strategist for the fixed income asset manager, PIMCO. At PIMCO, he was a member of the company's Global Investment Committee, Global Management Group and on the Board of Directors for PIMCO Global Advisors Asia.

Brick has lectured on International Finance at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and on Asian Political Economy at Johns Hopkins University, the latter at which earned and worked on his Masters and Ph.D., respectively.

John Lagman

John Lagman is an FX Market Specialist for S.E. Asia specializing in FX Derivatives. He works with the Sales teams to provide solutions to our Clients complex needs. This is via direct one on one training or seminars on FX. This includes introducing and explaining how Bloomberg applications can help make their workflow more efficient. He also provides feedback internally on applications to develop to assess our Clients' needs.

John recently joined Bloomberg at the end of June 2014. He has 14+ years experience as an FX Options Trader/Manager based in Singapore. He also worked 2+ years on the buyside as a FX/Rates/Credit Execution Trader & Strategist.

He has a B.S. in Economics from Purdue University and a Masters in Economics from Brandeis University. He has been an FX Options Trainer for ACI Singapore and Malaysia.

Nitin Jaiswal
Head of Sales for Asean and South Asia

Nitin Jaiswal is the head of sales for ASEAN and South Asia at Bloomberg LP., the world's most trusted source for real-time and historical financial data, news, research and analytics. Based in Singapore, Mr. Jaiswal oversees product development of the Bloomberg Professional service and key customer relationships across 12 markets in South Asia and the ASEAN region. His expertise covers equities, fixed income and foreign exchange instruments.

Mr. Jaiswal is a regular speaker at industry and government forums across Asia Pacific, and works closely with regulators and market associations to facilitate product development for local markets.

Mr. Jaiswal has held various roles with Bloomberg since joining the company in 1997. Most recently, he managed Bloomberg's team of foreign exchange market and product specialists that provide financial expertise and Bloomberg functionality solutions to internal and external clients. Previously, Mr. Jaiswal worked as a senior writer for Business Standard, India's largest financial publication. He started his career at Prudential Capital Markets in India as an investment banker.

Mr. Jaiswal has a bachelor's degree in finance, economics and marketing from the University of Hyderabad in India.

Tod Van Name
Global Business Manager, FX and Commodities Electronic Trading

Tod Van Name is global head of FX and commodity electronic trading at Bloomberg. Based in New York, he oversees business strategy and product development for Bloomberg's Foreign Exchange trading platform FXGO on the Bloomberg Professional service, the world's most trusted source for real-time and historical financial data, news, research and analytics.

Mr. Van Name and his team were instrumental in creating the desktop FX product, including the development of FXGO, which allows clients to perform pre-trade and post-trade analytics, trade a wide variety of FX instruments, and manage their FX risk via the Bloomberg Professional service. He is widely quoted as a media spokesman.

Previously, Mr. Van Name was global business manager various product groups including Economics, FX, Commodities and Fixed Income. He also directed Bloomberg's team of application specialists in the Americas who provide market expertise and Bloomberg analytical solutions to internal and external clients. Prior to joining Bloomberg in 2006, he traded currencies and options for over 19 years at several major banks, and served as senior vice president and manager of foreign exchange trading at Fuji Bank, where he oversaw the spot, forward and option trading desks. He has a BA in Economics from the University of California and an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
